Let Me Give You Something…

Hi, I’m Tyson Popplestone.

I’ve been passionate about running for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a family of athletes, (my Uncle Hank raced Ron Clarke!) it's fair to say running is in my genes.

At 14, I began training with Joe Carmody. He taught me about the importance of running technique and consistency in training. He believed that nothing beat consistency when it came to improving running performance.

(He was right)

From here, I went on to compete in the 2010 World Uni Cross Country Championships. I won he 2011 State Mile Championship and the Melbourne Marathon 10km. I ran 3.49 for 1500m, 8.10 for 3000m and 14.24 for 5km.

I started Relaxed Running in 2019 to share my secrets of running success with brand new - elite runners! Since then, I’ve helped thousands of runners just like you run faster than they thought they could. But you know what….
